Art Guidelines
We want your printed materials to look as amazing as you imagine! To help us make that happen, here are a few handy guidelines for submitting your artwork. Don’t worry if this is new to you—our team is here to help every step of the way.
File Formats
Preferred Formats: PDF, AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) or high-resolution PNG.
Other Accepted Formats: JPEG or TIFF files are okay, but they must be high-resolution.
Avoid using Word documents or low-quality images, as they don’t always print well.
Resolution Requirements
For the best quality, we recommend a minimum resolution of 200 DPI (dots per inch) and preferably 300 DPI. Low-resolution artwork can appear blurry or pixelated when printed, so this is really important!
Color Specifications
Submit your designs in CMYK color mode (not RGB). CMYK is the best mode for print and ensures your colors come out vibrant and accurate.
We are able to Pantone match some items, but not all, so ask if you need Pantone matching.
Bleed and Safe Zones
Include a 0.125” bleed on all sides of your artwork. This means your design extends slightly beyond the edge of the finished piece to avoid white edges. Keep any important text or images at least 0.25” inside the edge to make sure nothing gets cut off.
File Size
Files under 25MB can be emailed directly to us. For larger files, we recommend using a file-sharing service like Dropbox or Google Drive.
Proofing Process
After you submit your artwork, we’ll send you a digital proof for review. Take a close look to confirm everything is just as you want it before we move to production.
