Case Study: Reliant Church's Move to a Portable Worship Space

Meet Reliant Church.

Their challenge was transitioning from a permanent building to a high school venue – requiring portable solutions.

The Challenge

When Reliant Church made the bold move from their permanent building into a local high school, they faced an entirely new set of challenges.

Hosting Sunday services in a non-traditional, shared space meant they needed everything to be portable, easy to set up, and impactful. Their vision was clear—they wanted to create a welcoming, branded environment that reflected their identity and values. But achieving this in a temporary space came with hurdles.

How could they make a rented auditorium feel like “home” for their congregation?
How could they ensure visitors felt warmly welcomed and could easily find their way in an unfamiliar setting?
How could they energize volunteers who were now part of a setup and teardown process every week?

The Solution

That’s when Reliant Church partnered with Noonday Print & Promotions. Together, we made their vision a reality by taking a hands-on, collaborative approach.

Space Walkthrough & Visualization

We started by walking through the high school with Reliant Church’s team. Together, we scoped out the space, identifying key areas that needed signage, branding, and functionality. This hands-on approach helped us visualize how their ministry could flow seamlessly each Sunday.

Collaborative Planning

Next, we worked side-by-side with their leadership to create a detailed plan. We mapped out everything from wayfinding signs to stage-backdrop branding to ensure every corner of their temporary venue aligned with their goals.

Design & Production

Our team then got to work designing all the printed materials Reliant Church required. From directional signs and flags to welcome banners and branded backdrops, every piece was thoughtfully created to reflect their identity and mission. Once designs were finalized, we handled the printing, ensuring top-quality finishes that could stand up to the wear and tear of weekly use in a portable environment.

The Results

Thanks to this partnership, Reliant Church achieved a smooth transition into their new high school venue. Here’s how it impacted their ministry and community:

Church First Impressions - Retractable banners

Streamlined Navigation:

Visitors can easily find their way around, from the parking lot to the auditorium and beyond. Feather flags, a-frame signs and retractable banners eliminated confusion, ensuring everyone feels at ease from the moment they arrive.

Branded, Consistent Space:

Despite the temporary nature of the venue, the church feels like a cohesive, professional space. The branded visuals reinforce Reliant Church’s identity and make the high school auditorium feel like their own. From fabric walls to pop-up tables, Reliant is using prints to make a strong first impression.
